Before
Before the dental implant treatment process can begin, patients will first come into the office for a consultation to determine candidacy. Patients need to have good oral health and enough bone structure to support the implants. Scans are often taken during this appointment and if the patient qualifies, the implant procedure can be scheduled.
During
For the implant procedure, patients are given anesthesia prior to the start. Dr. Suri will place the implant in a predetermined location for optimal support. After the implant is in place, a temporary restoration can be placed on top for the healing process. The implant will stimulate the jawbone to grow around it, creating a firm hold. This healing process can take a few months to complete. Once over, patients can return to the office for removal of the temporary appliance and placement of the permanent one.

Once the final appliance is place, patients are free to enjoy their brand new smile. Implants require about the same care as natural teeth.
