This method of sedation is administered in a gas form through the nose. It provides almost instant relaxation for many of our patients – some to the point where they feel giddy or even sleepy. This allows our dental team to perform work quickly and easily while patients are calm and comfortable. Once the dental procedure is done, patients are given oxygen for several minutes to restore them to their previous alert state.
