FAQ

We believe that patients are our most valuable assets. Our job will be to diagnose and present the possible treatment options to the patient and help them make the choices that will be in their best interest. We will not push unnecessary or aggressive treatments!

Kings Dental strives to provide patients of all ages with exceptional and compassionate dental care in a warm and comfortable atmosphere. We have equipped our office with advanced technology and family-friendly amenities, such as Wi-Fi and refreshments in the reception, and TVs in our treatment rooms. Combined with our friendly team, flexible financial options, and convenient hours, our practice has truly been designed with you and your family in mind!

What makes you different from any other dental office I can visit?

We consider ourselves a patient centered practice. When you visit our office, you will find that we are not one of those rushed, impersonal, aggressive, or assembly-line style practices you may have visited. We are quite the opposite. We pride ourselves in the fact that we treat every patient as we would treat a family member. Dr. Suri will take the time needed with each patient to ensure quality treatment and to involve them in making decisions about their oral health and wellbeing. We always take the time to explain in detail each of your treatment options so that you can make an informed decision. At Kings Dental, our goal is to make you feel completely comfortable and at home in our practice.

Are you accepting new patients and do you accept referrals?

Yes! We truly consider it an honor when a patient chooses our office over others or recommends our office to a friend or a family member. Please call us at 214-703-6900 to make an appointment. We are conveniently located for patients from Garland, Mesquite, Rowlett, Rockwall, Sunnyvale, Balch Springs, Dallas and surrounding areas in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.

Another dentist said I need a lot of treatment, but I’m not sure. Should I get a second opinion?

In dentistry there are often many ways to solve a particular problem. That doesn’t mean that the first opinion is wrong, just, a different approach might benefit you better. If you would like, we can examine your unique situation and will happily provide our own independent assessment and recommendations. Dr. Suri believes in letting the patient make an informed decision. She will make sure you understand all the available options and the recommended option; the ultimate decision will be up to you.

Will you deal directly with my dental insurance?

Yes. Kings Dental works with most dental insurance programs. We take the stress off our patients and help file insurance claims on behalf of those who visit our practice. We accept Medicaid and CHIP as well.
You are responsible for covering any costs not covered by your dental insurance at the time of your visit. We do accept credit cards for your convenience. Many dental insurance plans vary in what they provide for coverage, and our practice will be more than happy to clarify any details necessary before treatment.

Do you see children? If so, what age would you recommend that they start seeing a dentist?

Yes! While we are not solely a pediatric dental office, we love seeing children of all ages! We have a kids’ play area with coloring sheets, crayons, books and an Xbox.
We recommend children see a dentist for the first time around the age of one, though we often see infants as young as 6 months. We accept most insurances including Medicaid and CHIP.

How often should I visit the dentist?

For most people, twice a year is usually sufficient; however, only you, your dentist, and your hygienist can determine how often is actually necessary. Regular dental exams and cleaning visits are essential in preventing dental problems and maintaining the health of your teeth and gums. Additionally, there are many other things that are checked and monitored to help detect, prevent, and maintain your dental health. Regular checkups are a MUST in order to maintain a healthy, happy smile!

Do you offer nitrous oxide sedation?

Yes, we offer Nitrous Oxide for all of our patients. Nitrous Oxide (N2O) or laughing gas, is colorless, sweet smelling, nonirritating, and when administered will create a state of mild sedation. This technique is advantageous for those patients who experience mild anxiety and/or fear when visiting the dentist.
